Housed in a former 1885 tobacco warehouse, its stunning architecture and spacious layout make it a sought-after location for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. But The Lageret is more than just a venue—it’s the realization of a dream for owner Jamae Ramsden, who has seamlessly combined her passion for flowers, design, and community into a thriving business. Recently, Jamae sponsored and hosted St. Ann School’s Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser at The Lageret, further demonstrating her commitment to both her business and her local community. As a proud supporter of St. Ann School, Jamae’s son Noah, a second grader there, is also an integral part of the tight-knit St. Ann family.

We are absolutely thrilled and overwhelmed with gratitude to announce that our Monte Carlo Casino Night Fundraiser raised a remarkable $58,000 for St. Ann School! What an incredible night of excitement, generosity, and community spirit. We are truly humbled and blessed by the outpouring of support and the shared commitment to the future of our school.

When Meg Veek reflects on her time at St. Ann School, where she graduated in 1967, she can’t help but feel immense gratitude for the foundation it provided her. "The lessons I learned went far beyond textbooks and classrooms—they helped mold me into the person I am today," she shares. "And to think, when I was younger, I took my Catholic education for granted."

At St. Ann School, we are committed to offering a math curriculum that not only challenges our students but also ensures they thrive academically. One of the most common questions we receive from prospective families is about our math program and how we support students at different speed levels. We are proud to say that our Saxon Math curriculum is a key ingredient in our students’ success.

Catholic Schools Week at St. Ann School was a time for celebration, prayer, fun, and community. The theme for this year’s week was “Let Your Light Shine,” inspired by the powerful words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” Throughout the week, we came together as a school family to reflect on God’s love, serve our community, and let our light shine in all we do.

At St. Ann School, we believe that every child’s journey through education is a unique and important one. Our 4K wrap care program, Little Branches, offers something truly special for our youngest learners. It’s not just a place for free play after the school day ends—it’s a rich, faith-based environment designed to nurture academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being.

When it comes to learning Spanish, some students might feel overwhelmed by new vocabulary, tricky pronunciations, or different sentence structures. But for Kalyn Eith, the challenge is exactly what makes teaching Spanish so exciting. Kalyn, the dynamic and enthusiastic Spanish teacher at St. Ann’s, is not only sharing her love for the language but also making it a fun, immersive experience for students from preschool through eighth grade.

In 1967, Fran Luther and her husband, John, were newlyweds eager to make their mark in a new town. They moved to Stoughton, where John’s service in the Army Reserves would often keep him away, and Fran found herself seeking ways to get involved in their new community. Her journey began on a Sunday morning, just after their arrival, when she walked to the local church to attend Mass. At that time, the church was a small chapel nestled within Nazareth House, the nursing home beside the rectory. The parish was young, with only a handful of Catholics in the area—Stoughton was, after all, predominantly Lutheran.

When Jessica and Joe Ritchie made the decision to move to Stoughton in 2020, they had two young children in tow: Cameron, then four years old, and Parker, who was just six months old.

While we are a Catholic school, we want to emphasize that you do not have to be Catholic to be part of our community. We welcome students from all faith traditions, knowing that their unique experiences enrich and strengthen our school environment.

Life can get pretty hectic as a busy mom of five—ages 14, 12, 9, 6, and 3. Between managing my children's needs, juggling school, extracurricular activities, and everything in between, I’m still constantly reminded of and thinking about why I love St. Ann School so much.

The Unexpected Journey of Grandpa Paul: From Science to Substituting at St. Ann School It all started with a simple family connection—my granddaughter Neva joining St. Ann School’s 4K class with Mrs. Matz. Little did I know that a few years later, I’d be standing in front of a classroom, teaching subjects ranging from math to religion, and getting to know some truly inspiring students and faculty along the way. My daughter, Alexandra, had the idea. Since I was retired and had a background in biology, cardiac medicine, and clinical perfusion, maybe I could offer my expertise as a substitute teacher. I thought I’d be stepping into science classrooms as a guest speaker, sharing my knowledge on topics like the heart or biology. But as it turned out, my role would be much broader than I expected.
