St. Ann School provides a welcoming, supportive environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Rooted in Catholic values, our school fosters respect, service, compassion, and a strong sense of community. While our faith tradition shapes our mission, we warmly welcome students and families of all faith backgrounds who support our values and educational approach. We serve children from Preschool through Grade 8, guiding them toward academic excellence while nurturing character and leadership through service to others.

• A child must be four years of age by September 1 to enter the Pre-Kindergarten Program. 
All registrants must present an original birth certificate. A child entering Pre-Kindergarten must be potty trained unless he or she has a medical condition that would prevent the ability to be potty-trained.
• A child entering the Stoughton Area School District (SASD) sponsored 4K Program at St. Ann School must be four years of age by September 1. Registration for the 4K Program happens in February through the SASD. Site requests are on a first come, first-served basis. Placement is determined by mid-May. All registrants must present an original birth certificate.
• A child entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1. All registrants must present an original birth certificate and a baptismal certificate (if applicable). 
All heath records including immunizations must be current in compliance with the State of Wisconsin health guidelines. 

• Students currently enrolled at St. Ann School shall have the privilege to register for each succeeding year. Registration for new students shall begin in February for the upcoming school year. First priority for new student registration will be given to active members of St. Ann Parish.

Enrollment Philosophy & Guidelines
St. Ann School invites applications from families committed to partnering with our community in fostering each child’s full development. Admission decisions are made based on classroom space and the individual needs of the student and school, with careful discernment by School Leadership.
Priority consideration is given to:Siblings of current students
- Families expressing long-term commitment to the school
– Families affiliated with Catholic parishes or Christian communities

We honor diversity and believe our community is enriched by students from a wide range of cultural and religious traditions. All applicants are welcome, and each application is reviewed thoughtfully and individually. St. Ann School does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender, or religious affiliation. We are open to all who support our mission and seek a values-based, well-rounded education.

Admissions Timeline
January
– Applications open for the upcoming academic year
– Re-enrollment for current families begins

February/March
– Assessments for new students (K–Grade 8)
– Family interviews conducted
– Admissions Committee final review

April/May
– Admissions decisions communicated
– Enrollment paperwork, tuition deposits, and registration fees due

Applications submitted after May 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

Re-Enrollment for Returning Families
Current families are asked to re-register by March to retain placement for the following school year. While returning students are prioritized, continued enrollment is determined by family engagement, available space, and alignment with the school’s mission and expectations.
