At St. Ann School, one of the most meaningful parts of our identity is our strong commitment to living and growing together in our Catholic faith. We strive to create a vibrant, supportive faith community where students and staff are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus through prayer, service, and shared worship.
Throughout the school year, we set aside special times for both students and staff to participate in faith-based activities and events. All students attend Mass every Thursday at 8:00 a.m., as well as on Holy Days of Obligation. Families and friends are always warmly invited to join us for these celebrations of faith.
Students in grades 2 through 8 also have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent—special moments for reflection and spiritual growth as they continue their journey of faith.
Our school community actively lives out our mission to serve others. Each year, students lead efforts to collect food, clothing, toys, personal care items, and household supplies for local families in need. In addition, they support Catholic organizations through prayer, service projects, and charitable donations.
Second grade is a special year at St. Ann School, as Catholic students have the opportunity to prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively participate by attending informational meetings, supporting their child through at-home discussions, and assisting with special projects.
While these sacraments are an important part of the Catholic faith, students do not need to be Catholic or receive the sacraments to attend St. Ann School. We warmly welcome families of all faith backgrounds and respect each family's individual beliefs and traditions.
If you have questions about your child’s participation in sacramental preparation or would like to learn more about our faith formation opportunities, please feel free to contact our Faith Formation Coordinator, Tonya Kleven, at [email protected]. She will be happy to assist you and guide your family through the process.
