Rooted in our Catholic faith, this theme reminds us daily of who we are called to be. In Colossians 3:12, we hear:
"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."
These words set the tone for everything we do—not just within our classrooms, but in the way we treat one another, welcome newcomers, and grow as disciples of Christ.
This fall, we’re blessed to welcome several new students and families to the St. Ann community. Whether you’ve just joined us in preschool or transferred into middle school, we want you to know: you belong here. Your child is not just entering a school, but a faith-filled family—one that walks together in learning, love, and kindness.
From the first warm greetings at drop-off to friends sharing playground games, we’ve already seen the Holy Spirit at work in how our students embrace one another.
One of our most heartwarming traditions began again this week as our 8th graders were paired with their Kindergarten buddies. This special mentorship is more than just a program—it’s a living expression of compassion, kindness, and leadership.
Throughout the year, our oldest students will walk alongside our youngest, helping them with prayers, attending Mass together, working on classroom activities, and forming bonds that reflect the love of Christ. It's a beautiful model of what discipleship looks like in action—leading with love, patience, and presence.
Kindness isn't just a theme—it’s who we are. It shows up in morning greetings, classroom cooperation, shared prayer intentions, and service to others. Our mission calls each of us—students, staff, and families—to wear kindness like a uniform of faith.
This year, you’ll see many ways we’re weaving kindness into school life:
Classroom kindness challenges
Stories of saints and their acts of mercy
Service projects and opportunities for giving
Daily reminders that Christ is at the center of all we do
As we begin this new year, may we all strive to clothe ourselves in kindness and live God’s love in every moment, big and small. We're so glad you're here with us.
Welcome back, St. Ann families—and welcome home to our newest members. Let’s make this a year of grace, growth, and most of all… kindness.
