We’re excited to welcome Mr. Joe Ritchie to the St. Ann School family as our new Physical Education teacher. Joe brings with him a strong background in sports, coaching, and a love for building community—both in the classroom and beyond.
A Strong Catholic Foundation Joe grew up in Boscobel, Wisconsin, with his parents and two younger siblings. As the oldest of three, he attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School through fifth grade. His upbringing was rooted in a strong Catholic faith, supported by his family and grandparents who are all active members of their local parish.
A Lifelong Passion for Sports From a young age, Joe has been passionate about physical education and athletics. Over the years, he’s coached middle school boys’ and girls’ basketball in Waunakee, as well as freshman boys’ baseball. He also served as the director of the Boscobel Recreation Department for two years, helping organize sports and activities for the community. In his free time, he enjoys playing a variety of intramural sports.
A New Chapter in Stoughton In the fall of 2020, Joe and his wife Jessica moved to Stoughton with their two sons, Cameron and Parker. They quickly felt at home in the community and joined St. Ann Parish. Their son Cameron began 4K at St. Ann School in 2021, and Parker followed in the fall of 2024.
Excited for What’s Ahead Joe is thrilled to bring his energy and enthusiasm to St. Ann School. He’s especially looking forward to sharing his love of sports and teamwork with students from all grade levels. His goal is to help each child grow in confidence, learn new skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Ritchie to the St. Ann School family.
